Editor George O’Brien is one of the region’s most experienced and respected journalists, with more than 30 years’ experience as a writer and editor. Before coming to BusinessWest in 1995 as editor, he was the long-time editor of the Westfield Evening News. He attended the University of Massachusetts, majoring in Journalism and English and minoring in History.

Morning Show ProducerLopez will discuss the benefits of having your business or non-profit on the radio and the best way to get your message to the audience. He will explain what he looks for when deciding who is going to be on the air and what you should be doing when you are on the air.
Lopez has been at 94.7 WMAS for more than 15 years. He started as the Morning Show Producer and soon became a member of the show as an On-Air Personality as well. He has worked in the Promotions Department as the Promotions Assistant and interim Promotions Director. He is now the Assistant Program Director/Music Director when he’s not on The Kellogg Krew.

Managing EditorMichael Dobbs is the managing editor of Reminder Publications and has spent the bulk of his adult life in communications as a writer, college instructor and broadcaster. He has written three books with a graphic novel now in production and he works part-time for FOCUS Springfield. He lives in Springfield with his long-suffering wife Mary, along with the world's most disobedient dog and too many cats.
